1. Can my stallion be collected and his semen frozen?
Yes. However, a stallion that has never been collected before requires initial collection training and a baseline semen evaluation. After that, we perform a test-freeze. Keep in mind that there is a great variation between stallions, but roughly 70% of stallions produce sperm that survives the freezing and thawing process with acceptable post-thaw motility.
